HGV Technician (Nights) - Well Established Commercial Rental Company in Manchester
  • Basic Salary-Up to £50,000
  • OTE- £61,000.00, Annual Pay Rises and Profit Share.
  • Monday-Thursday 8:30pm-7:00am
  • Working for a large, well established company with excellent training and progression opportunities, all paid for by the company!
  • 25 days plus bank holidays
Our client is a very well established commercial rental company based in Manchester with other sites located in the UK. They are currently looking to add an experienced HGV Technician to their ever-growing team. If you are an experienced HGV Technician looking for a new challenge, please get in touch! The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds, however time served of 3 years+ will be considered.Benefits the HGV Technician will receive:
  • A basic salary of up to £50,000
  • OTE- £61,000.00 with annual pay rises.
  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
  • Regular overtime offered at time and a half.
  • Training and professional development opportunities, paid for by the company.
Responsibilities of the successful HGV Technician:
  • Carry out routine inspections and services.
  • Testing Vehicles in a professional and safe manner.
  • Investigate and diagnose faults and report findings.
  • Carrying out repairs to the current manufacturers standards.
Requirements of the HGV Technician:
  • Qualified to NVQ/City and Guilds Level 3 in HGV Mechanics or time served of 3 years + within the industry.
  • Knowledge of cranes or hydraulics, and experience of working on tippers or beaver tails would be advantageous.
  • A full UK Driving License
  • Previous experience in a similar environment is essential.
