- Strong business acumen for understanding business priorities, opportunities and challenges, and external influencing factors.
- Ability to understand and analyse data to influence key decision making.
- Experience evolving a talent strategy, through diagnostic thinking, needs analyses and data analysis, managing expectations, building collaborative relationships, and challenging constructively with a point of view.
- Experience building talent strategies, including high potential identification and acceleration, assessment, succession planning, career development planning and talent movement.
- Change management skills to help the business plan and lead change effectively by using consulting skills and providing relevant change frameworks and tools.
- Strong project management skills to ensure completion and implementation of projects or programs on time and within budget.
- Strong coaching skills and influencing skills.
- Ability to recognise where senior leaders need challenged and be comfortable to challenge the status quo, engrained cultures and behaviours.
- Ability to problem solve effectively, using data and other means to present business cases to a broad client group.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and its application, particularly around TUPE regulations.
- Comfortable working in a matrix environment.
