Job Description:Business Development Manager – Central Belt, Edinburgh & BordersHire Industry: Plant, Accommodation & Power SolutionsAre you an experienced sales professional with the drive to open new doors and win business? Due to further investment in their fleet, my client has created a brand-new role for a Business Development Manager to spearhead growth across the Central Belt, Edinburgh and the Borders.As part of a dynamic and ambitious company in the hire industry, you’ll focus on plant, accommodation and power solutions, identifying opportunities, developing relationships, and delivering real results.What you’ll do:
  • Hunt for new business across the region – targeting construction, infrastructure, events and related sectors.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, from lead generation through to closing deals.
  • Plan effectively, set clear objectives, and deliver against growth targets.
  • Work closely with the wider team to ensure clients receive the best hire solutions and service.

  • A true business hunter – resilient, energetic and commercially sharp, who knows what’s happening on their patch and keeps abreast of new projects and competitor activity.
  • Proven experience in sales, ideally within the hire industry.
