The Role as Project Manager, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering technology projects from concept through to deployment. Working closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, supply chain, operations, and customer-facing functions), you'll ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the high standards expected by the business.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder projects in the telecoms / wireless domain.The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Creating a detailed project plan that outlines how to reach the project goals and the major milestones along the way
- Proactively monitoring and adjusting the plan as needed
- Communicating the project priorities and deliverables
- Organising and leading weekly project reviews and daily stand ups
- Maintaining and communicating the long-term vision and defining the steps to get there
- Reporting status and blockers for action
- Managing discrete activities of individuals and teams, milestones and release schedules for hardware and software via Jira
- Tracking and monitoring project progress vs plan; managing schedule, budget, resources, and risks
- Anticipating and resolving project issues
- Liaising with resource stakeholders and external suppliers
- Providing weekly and monthly status reports to internal and external stakeholders
- Provide guidance and motivation to project team members
- Being the source of truth to the project team
- Confident in liaising with external stakeholders, suppliers and other third parties
- Experience of project management/coordination in an electronics or SW product development environment
- Proven experience as a Project Manager (wireless, or electronics industry preferred).
- Strong background in coordinating technical/engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Prince2, or similar).
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, scale-up style environment.
- Risk management experience using project management techniques, to enable early identification of problems and implementation of mitigation actions
