Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for a 3D Designer to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position until 31st March 2026.Umbrella Pay Rate: £33.64 per hour.The role of 3D Designer is creatively responsible translating the brand identity vision across physical objects, covering a broad range of aspects, including but not limited to, vehicle detail design, off vehicle EV infrastructure, furniture and equipment and collections and accessories.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary designers and vehicle designers to creatively translate brand design content into 3D solutions.
  • Create and implement 3Dimensional design solutions across multiple physical objects that coherently support the brand vision and position.
  • Able to take rough concepts through detail development into tangible and feasible solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management across interdependent design functions.
Essential Skills Required:
  • Excellent 3D design experience gained in agency and corporate settings.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering design solutions across multiple product lines in a 3D context.
  • Sensitivity to form and function.
  • Knowledge of production, manufacturing and material processes.
  • Strong proficiency in digital modelling software – alias, blender, rhino.
  • Realtime rendering capability in Keyshot or similar.
  • Unreal Engine experience preferable.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management skills.
  • Comfortable working across different cultures, geography and time zones.
  • Able to adapt to a fast-paced design environment.
