- Develop, implement, and own the social media strategy for the Netherlands market.
- Craft localised content plans and calendars that are culturally relevant and resonate with our target audiences, especially around major sporting events.
- Oversee and directly contribute to the creation of engaging, high-quality social media content.
- Build and nurture a thriving online community of players - engage with followers, foster conversations, and run engaging community campaigns, including competitions and giveaways.
- Manage and optimise our paid campaigns from conception to execution, ensuring alignment with performance goals and budget - collaborating with the Paid Social team.
- Lead social-first projects and workshops, fostering cross-functional collaboration with marketing, commercial, and design teams to ensure successful project outcomes from start to finish.
- Track, analyse, and report on social media performance, campaign results, and key commercial KPIs. Use data analysis to make informed decisions, optimise strategies, and identify growth opportunities.
- Keep your finger on the pulse of the latest social media trends, platform updates, and cultural nuances to ensure our content is always relevant, fresh, and engaging.
- Ensure all social media activities adhere to regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborating with the international social media team to share best practices, exchange insights, and contribute to LeoVegas' overall social media success.
- Act as a mentor and leader within the social media team. Encourage team collaboration, motivate others to achieve departmental goals, and inspire strategic thinking.
- Demonstrable experience in a senior social media role, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns and strategies for a global brand, agency, or within the online gaming industry.
- A strong strategic and commercial mindset & strong analytical skills.
- Creativity & adaptability to create engaging content that captures attention and drives engagement.
- Experience working with social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Sprout Social) and creative editing software (e.g. Adobe Express, Canva, Capcut).
- Nimble and responsive to changes in industry trends, algorithms, and platform updates, with a keen eye for identifying growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a global team.
- Direct experience with the Dutch market is a significant advantage.
- Experience working with influencers and brand ambassadors.
- Knowledge of Dutch gambling regulations.
- Fluent in Dutch
- A genuine interest in sports and sports betting industry.
