EIA Associate Director - SouthamptonAbout the RoleWe are working with one of the UK leading planning consultancies operating a wide range of projects across the country (residential, commercial, infrastructure, property). The company portfolio includes high profile clients, landowners, private individuals, institutions, developers, promoters, national and regional house builders, as well as commercial & leisure operators and investors.The position is based in Southampton and, depending on experience, the attributed portfolio may range from regional to nationwide.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide EIA consultancy across a broad range of development projects ranging from urban extensions, major industrial developments, retail repurposing and town centre regeneration, rural / landowner estate portfolios etc.
  • Provide expert EIA guidance and support to the planning team
  • Ability to lead multi-disciplinary consultancy teams & mentor junior colleagues
  • Commercial acumen to assist with BD and contribute towards winning new markets
  • Develop and manage a network of key contacts
Key Skills
  • Chartered IEMA Practitioner
  • Commercial and entrepreneurial experience
  • Multidisciplinary or planning consultancy experience
  • Strives to deliver an exceptional level of service to clients at all times
  • Excellent written and communication skills
