- Possession of a Masters degree in Public Health / Health Promotion / Health Protection or a relevant subject, or significant level of experience demonstrating application of health protection knowledge
- Experience of working in health protection related roles and delivering programmes of work, or experience in public health with some health protection elements and capability to pick up further health protection knowledge quickly
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate with people of all levels
- Working with multi-agency partners and networks
