Operating as Part of the Larger Huws Gray Merchant Group We are always looking to expand our Market Share.We’re looking for a dynamic Roof Truss & Posi-Joist Designer with great attention to detail to join our expanding team. You’ll be integral to our design and estimating function - translating architectural drawings into precision-engineered solutions that are both buildable and commercially viable.What You’ll be Doing:
  • Produce accurate roof truss and posi-joist designs using specialist MiTek software.
  • Interpret and analyse architectural and structural drawings
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to optimise designs for production
  • Prepare clear and professional layout drawings, structural calculations, and supporting documentation
  • Engage with clients and internal teams to clarify requirements and manage changes efficiently
  • Maintain high standards of design quality, compliance, and buildability
