We are looking for a resilient and nurturing Children's Support worker to join our family home, caring for our young children who have emotional and behavioural difficulties. This is a busy and lively home and you will ensure the children's safety and wellbeing during the night time, being a friendly face and spending time to support and settle our boys and girls.Patience and understanding is essential along with a calming manner.What do you need?
  • Previous relevant children's experience or transferable skills such as SEN schools, children's nursery, primary school education, sports, fostering or young adult care.
  • A real passion and desire to support children in a homely environment
  • A good level of English communication skills.
  • Experience or knowledge of child-centred, therapeutic models.
  • Naturally caring, nurturing, flexible and resilient.
  • Full UK drivers licence would be beneficial.
