Location: Edinburgh Bus Station
Shift Pattern: 7 days on, 3 off. Then 7 days on 4 off. Woking on rotation between 06.15-14.45 or 14.15-22.40
Rate of pay: £14.02 - £22.51 per hour (dependent on shift type)
Duration: Ongoing temporary

- Being the first point of contact for passengers - providing clear, friendly, and accurate travel information
- Offering assistance to passengers with queries, directions, and travel advice
- Maintaining a welcoming, safe, and clean station environment for all visitors
- Managing the smooth flow of buses and passengers through the station
- Supporting the improvement of station services and facilities through excellent customer engagement
- Managing live traffic movements within the bus station to maintain safety and efficiency
- Coordinating bus arrivals and departures in line with schedules
- Strong customer service skills and a positive, approachable manner
- Confidence in speaking with the public and providing information under pressure
- The ability to work as part of a team and build rapport with colleagues and external partners
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm in busy situations
- Good IT literacy and attention to detail
- A flexible approach to working hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
- Full training provided - including opportunities for First Aid certification
