Responsibilities:
  • Support children and young people who are looked after by the local authority.
  • The role involves ensuring their safety, stability, and wellbeing while promoting positive outcomes in line with their care plans.
  • Care planning and review.
  • Foster and residential care support.
  • Safeguarding and risk management.
  • Work with health, education, and other professionals to coordinate services and achieve positive outcomes.
  • Ensure work adheres to relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989, Children and Social Work Act 2017, and other statutory guidance.
Requirements:
  • Social Work Degree or equivalent
  • Current registration with Social Work England
  • Enhanced DBS
