Do you have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs in a 1:1 setting?Vision for Education is seeking a dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Romford, providing 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs. This full-time role is ideal for someone confident in adapting strategies to meet individual learning and emotional needs.The Role:Providing 1:1 support to a pupil with identified SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, or SEMH)Supporting the pupil’s academic, social, and emotional developmentWorking closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to adapt learning tasks and monitor progressBuilding a positive, trusting relationship that enables the pupil to succeed in the classroomThe Ideal Candidate:Holds a Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)Has previous experience working in a primary school settingConfident supporting children with SEN on a 1:1 basisHas excellent communication and behaviour management skillsIs patient, proactive, and passionate about inclusive educationHolds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to apply)What We Offer:Competitive daily rates, paid weeklyOngoing CPD and professional developmentSupport from a dedicated education consultantOpportunities for long-term
