
ER Manager - 6 month FTC

- Lead the management of high-volume and complex ER cases, ensuring consistency, fairness and legal compliance across the business.
- Provide expert advice, coaching and challenge to senior leaders, Territory Managers and General Managers to build capability and confidence in handling ER issues.
- Analyse ER case data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and translate insights into practical recommendations for improvement.
- Shape and refine ER policies, processes and toolkits to ensure they remain fit-for-purpose and future-focused.
- Partner closely with the wider People team on strategic projects, embedding best practice and aligning ER with business priorities.
- Stay ahead of employment law developments, ensuring the business is proactive in adapting to change.
- CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience) with a strong track record in ER management.
- Deep knowledge of UK employment law and Employment Tribunal processes.
- Proven experience leading complex ER cases and providing advice up to senior leadership level.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to spot trends, assess risks and develop solutions that balance legal compliance with commercial needs.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge where needed.
- A proactive, collaborative and pragmatic approach, with the ability to balance operational demands with strategic priorities.
- Previous experience managing a team.
