This role can be based from any of our 19 offices including, Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester, Carlisle and Glasgow.The main elements of this role will include:
  • Supporting the VAT and Indirect Tax Partner in delivering complex VAT advisory projects
  • Identifying and delivering high quality VAT advisory services to our clients across a range of sectors
  • Being responsible for drafting high quality VAT advisory services to our clients across a range of sectors
  • Being responsible for drafting appropriate scope and budget for each piece of work and delivering against individual and team agreed KPI's and fee targets
  • Monitoring the status of each project and ensuring appropriate delegation of tasks and deadlines are met
  • Ensuring the appropriate levels of communication with clients including being responsible for client contact on advisory projects
  • Supporting VAT Partner in targeting VAT opportunities and business development
  • Coaching and managing technical development of junior team members

  • Focussed and have a driven attitude to grow the firms VAT advisory offering
  • Technically strong and have at least 5 years previous experience working in a VAT advisory role advising across a range of sectors
  • Commercial and be able to manage / help others in the team achieve success
  • Able to achieve and have a track record of business development success
