We're looking for a Track Systems Technician to join a high-performance engineering team delivering precision technology at major international events.This role combines fieldwork, technical problem-solving, and global travel, perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, thrives under pressure, and takes pride in getting things right, first time.What You'll Be DoingInstalling and maintaining timing loops, beacons, and temperature sensors at event venuesTerminating and testing data cables (coaxial and multi-core) and supporting data acquisition systemsCommissioning and configuring electronic and IT hardware in fast-paced live environmentsDiagnosing and resolving faults in network and electrical systemsMaintaining detailed technical documentation, reports, and fault logsCollaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders for smooth setup and operationsWorking across a wide range of global environments - from heat to cold, wet to dryEnsuring all equipment is properly maintained, transported, and ready for deploymentWhat You'll NeedHands-on experience with electrical/electronic systems and fault-findingComfortable reading and working from wiring diagrams and technical documentationBasic understanding of TCP/IP networks and cable systemsExcellent communication and time-management skillsAbility to perform reliably in high-pressure, live broadcast environmentsPhysically fit, with a willingness to work outdoors and travel internationally (1-3 weeks at a time)A full UK driving licenceBonus Points For:Familiarity with CAN bus and RF systemsPrior experience in technical event support or motorsport environmentsHND or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fieldsThis is more than just a job, it's a chance to be part of a skilled team delivering critical systems in some of the world's most demanding and exciting live settings.
