
Senior Duty Manager – Leading Leisure Centre

- Act as key holder, responsible for opening and closing the site during your shift
- Supervise and coordinate the daily maintenance, cleaning and safety standards of the facility
- Lead on daily, weekly, and monthly pool plant operations and hygiene checks
- Coordinate wet side rotas, events, galas, and holiday camps
- Handle H&S incidents, safeguarding concerns, and customer queries or complaints
- Report directly to the General Manager and liaise with the senior leadership team
- Experience managing operations within the leisure, health, or fitness sector
- Supervisory or line management experience - you're confident leading teams and meeting KPIs
- Strong organisational skills, able to balance operational, staffing, and customer needs
- Knowledge of recruitment, payroll, training, and performance management
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Health & Safety awareness, with ability to manage risk in a critical environment
- First Aid at Work
- NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) - or willingness to work towards
- Pool Plant Operator Certificate (PPO) - or willingness to work towards
