- Perform prepayment accounting and post accruals
- Maintain fixed asset and lease capitalisation records
- Manage payroll and employee benefits accounting
- Support intercompany processing and reconciliations
- Ensure balance sheet integrity through analytical reviews and variance validation
- Report the month-end results to the corporate accounting team in line with published timelines
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist statutory accountants and auditors with annual filings and queries
- Collaborate across workstreams to meet deadlines and support team members
- Partner with finance and non-finance colleagues to ensure the accuracy of accruals and reserves
- Contribute to ad hoc projects across accounting teams
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to learning
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled in planning, prioritising, and organising workload
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability
- Reliable and adaptable under pressure
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a finance organisation, ideally in an SSC environment
- Familiarity with spreadsheet applications and data manipulation tools such as Power Apps, Alteryx, or other ETL platforms
- Knowledge of Python, SQL, or similar scripting languages would be advantageous
- Exposure to automation in financial data processes
- Ability to interact with colleagues across all levels, including senior management
- Knowledge of a European foreign language is beneficial
