Start Date: ASAPWe're working with a leading BMS provider supporting a high volume of new-build and refurbishment projects across London. They're looking for a skilled Contract BMS Commissioning Engineer to join their team on an initial 6-month contract to support the commissioning and delivery of Building Management Systems on a range of commercial sites.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who can take ownership of commissioning tasks and deliver projects to a high technical standard with minimal supervision.The RoleYou'll be responsible for the full commissioning cycle - from pre-commissioning and software loading to functional testing and final handover. You'll work closely with the project delivery team, attending site meetings, completing witness testing, and ensuring all works are carried out in line with project specs.Key ResponsibilitiesCommission BMS control systems and associated M&E plantCarry out software loading, graphics testing, and functional point-to-point checksPre-commission and test panels, peripherals, and third-party integrationsSupport and lead on-site witness testing and client demonstrationsCollaborate with project managers and engineering teams to meet delivery deadlinesProduce and maintain accurate commissioning documentation and daily site reportsIdentify and escalate technical issues, propose practical solutions on siteEnsure work is delivered in line with health and safety requirements and QA standardsRequirementsStrong experience commissioning BMS systems (Trend, Tridium, Schneider, Distech, Delta or similar)Background in electrical or mechanical engineering (ONC/HNC or equivalent preferred)CSCS/ECS card and full UK driving licenceAbility to work independently and manage multiple site responsibilitiesRight to work in the UKContract Details6-month contract (initially)Outside IR35Central London-based sitesDay rate negotiable based on experienceWeekly payments via Ltd CompanyIf you're an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer available for contract work in London, get in touch to discuss this opportunity further.
