Private Client Solicitor - BournemouthFantastic opportunity for an experienced private client solicitor to lead the development of the Tax and Estate Planning services at this Legal 500 firm's new Bournemouth office.The successful candidate will manage their own caseload while mentoring junior team members and will ideally have around 3 -5 years PQE.Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle a mixed caseload of estates and trusts, draft and update wills, and prepare lasting powers of attorney.
  • Advise on trust law, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and corporate governance.
  • Draft various trust deeds and provide tailored solutions for complex private client matters.
  • Contribute to the department's growth and uphold its strong reputation.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Ideally have at least 5 years' experience in tax and estate planning although those with slightly less PQE but demonstrated experience are still encouraged to apply
  • STEP-qualified with expertise in wills, trusts, inheritance tax planning, and compliance.
  • A proactive problem-solver with strong drafting skills and a commercial mindset.
  • Highly organised, team-oriented, and adept at mentoring and communication.
