However, we are open to considering candidates from across England, provided you are flexible and willing to travel, primarily to London, for site visitsWhat will you be doing?As a Design Engineer, you'll be creating telecom site designs for new builds, upgrades, and relocations, matching customer specs. Working on the MBNL NTQ portfolio (BTEE & 3UK), you'll team up with CAD, structural, and electrical experts.This hybrid role mixes home and office work, with site visits when needed.What you'll do:
  • Help project teams meet deadlines and deliverables.
  • Plan workloads, surveys, and dependencies.
  • Visit sites, work with clients, and agree on designs.
  • Guide CAD teams to create drawings.
  • Ensure safety docs meet CDM standards.
  • Collaborate with teams to finalise designs.
  • Keep systems updated and work top-notch.
What you'll bring?You'll need a UK driving licence and be up for travel. Experience with site surveys (rooftops, greenfield, streetworks) and telecom design (ideally MBNL/BTEE/H3G) is key. Know your rigging, electrical schematics, and structural design. Familiarity with ICNIRP and building regs helps, but it's not a dealbreaker. AutoCAD and MS Office skills are a must. A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is a bonus. Bring strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude.What's in it for you?
