A team of Ops people, analysts and engineers, the Business Operations team is charged with:
  • Analysing and reporting company wide data and operations and generating insights from this analysis
  • Supporting departments across the business on operations, systems and data
  • Designing and implementing strong systems & processes that improve performance
  • Managing the architecture of internal data within LandTech;
  • Supporting the organisation with research and data on our markets, competitors and other external factors
  • Providing operational and strategic recommendations to management
  • Leading cross functional execution of change and other projects
  • Adaptively building scalable organisational capacity where gaps become apparent as the business grows
THE ROLEThis is an exciting opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join in with the development of Business Intelligence within one of the UK’s fastest growing and most recognised startups. This role reports to the Business Intelligence Lead and may involve coaching of junior analysts in the future.Working with Business Operations colleagues, the Business Intelligence Analyst will take responsibility for providing analysis and visualisations that give insights which make a business impact. You will create scalable BI reporting as the business expands into new markets and territories, as well as drive further development of our data infrastructure for scale.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Produce QuickSight visualisation and dashboarding for reporting and complex analysis, from start to finish
  • Work with stakeholders to understand needs and priorities, maintain and improve data and dashboards on which they rely
  • Perform complex data and business analysis using visualisation, spreadsheet and other tools as appropriate, to provide insights that help improve our business
  • Working with colleagues, ensure best practices are followed throughout the data pipeline
  • Support both Back and Front End with enhancements to data architecture
  • Be an advocate for data cleanliness and raises issues with data
KEY DELIVERABLES
  • Help develop Business Intelligence offering to be the single source of truth across the business
  • Dashboard reporting of operational performance, KPIs, SaaS metrics and product usage
  • Provide data driven insights that help LandTech to optimise customer experience, understand the health of our customers, maximise efficiency in internal operations and move the needle on revenue
  • Work with the team to continue making enhancements to our data architecture and data models
  • Develop pipelines to allow Business Intelligence to operate at International scale
  • Maintain data integrity and help fix issues where they arise
RequirementsTECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
  • Advanced data visualisation skills across various tools, preferably AWS QuickSight
  • Extensive experience with SQL, Python beneficial
  • Capable of performing advanced analysis and modelling
  • Strong experience with Excel and / or Google Sheets
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
  • 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or a similar role
  • Experience of communicating complex data stories & insight to senior management with trackable impact to the business
  • Worked with customer data, inc. CRM data and product usage data
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
