- Leading global Engineering Excellence (EE) initiatives that support technical talent advancement at Citi.
- Leading a set of high-profile engineering projects defined and executed by our highly talented engineering leaders.
- Designing and implementing thoughtful content through innovative channels to engage internal engineering teams and to attract external talent.
- Partnering with EE, engineering and business management teams across the globe to drive adoption of strategic technical products that enable engineers to be more productive, such as Github Copilot and Github Enterprise, as well as in-house built tools such as our Generative AI, CI/CD Pipeline and Release tools.
- Partnering with EE engineering and business management teams across the globe to drive adoption of best practice enablers such as version control, testing automation, agile project management and CI/CD to improve industry standard DORA metrics used as benchmarks of high performing technical teams.
- Build and lead a small, high performing team to execute on the EE agenda.
- Lead non-direct large engineering teams through influence to execute on the EE agenda.
- Lead on or participate in strategic EE initiatives in an ever-changing innovative environment.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of EE as an active member of the EE Leadership Team.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of EE initiatives, regularly monitoring progress and adjusting as needed.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and support for EE initiatives.
- Lead or participate in local Tech initiatives as directed by the Head of Tech, Belfast.

- Proven track record of transformation and delivery of large-scale initiatives, driven through influence rather than directly managing large teams.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and navigate complex organization dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to create vision and motivate others through exciting content and presentations.
- Demonstrated passion for supporting technical career development of others.
- Demonstrated analytical mindset, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Good knowledge of the software development process, ideally from working in and/or running development teams in a banking environment.
