  • Lead engaging and interactive Media Studies lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
  • Create and design lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity.
  • Continuously assess student progress and offer constructive feedback to aid their growth.
  • Work closely with colleagues to exchange best practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
  • Develop positive relationships with students and parents to support academic achievement and overall well-being.
The ideal candidate will:
  • A qualified teacher with QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • A degree in Media Studies or a related discipline (such as English, Film Studies, Journalism, or Digital Media)
  • Previous experience teaching Media at the secondary level is desirable
  • Confident classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students
  • Strong communication and organisational abilities, with a proactive approach to continuous professional growth
