- Initiate and reinforce processes around the assessment and management of diverse risks across our non-infra asset base. Take ownership of risks from identification, through appraisal of options to mitigate these risks, to recommendation of a best-value solution for delivery.
- Achieve and maintain excellence by owning the processes, standards and techniques required to understand and manage risk, maintaining asset performance, water quality and regulatory requirements.
- Provide input to Community Master Development Plans spanning Infra and non-Infra assets, liaising with stakeholders to ensure these are regularly reviewed and updated.
- Visit our production sites and other non-infra assets on a regular basis, to develop a broad appreciation for how our assets work.
- Contribute to improving the performance of the team, exemplifying appropriate behaviours and meeting performance targets set for the team.
- Use asset data to help analyse risk and inform decision making. Demonstrate an eye for detail.
- Work effectively with and coordinate internal and external stakeholders through the risk management process - including Asset Delivery, Production, Water Quality Services, contractors, and others. Be curious, confident, and ask challenging questions to ensure risks are properly understood.
- Maintain an interest in the wider activities of AW and issues in the industry, and consider this context when managing risks.
