We're recruiting for a proactive and reliable Yard Operative to join a busy and well-established fresh produce site. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in maintaining clean, efficient spaces, and thrives in a structured, supportive team environment.This is a continental shift position (2-2-3 pattern).What You'll Be Doing:Keep the yard and outdoor areas clean, organised, and safeOperate machinery including cardboard balers and waste compactorsManage fruit waste, general waste skips, and coordinate disposalLoad and unload lorries as needed using forklift or other MHEProvide cover for the Packaging Storesperson or Warehouse Operative when requiredWhat We're Looking for:Valid forklift, reach truck and POEP truck licencesPhysically fit and happy to work outdoors and on your feetSelf-motivated with strong organisational and planning skillsNumerate, literate, and confident with computer systemsTeam-oriented with great communication and interpersonal skillsA positive, problem-solving attitude and strong awareness of health & safetySomeone who takes pride in their work and aims to set the standardYou'll Fit Right In If You Are:A natural team player who enjoys supporting othersReady to take initiative and look for ways to improve processesReliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standardsMotivated by a fast-paced environment where no two days are the sameProud to make a difference and keep things running smoothly behind the scenesIf this sound like it could be of interest, please feel free to apply or send me your CV to .
