
Contentious Construction Solicitor

- Advise on a wide range of construction and engineering disputes, including professional negligence, defects, delays and payment issues
- Represent clients in adjudications, arbitrations, mediations and court proceedings
- Prepare legal documentation including pleadings, witness statements and expert reports
- Contribute to case strategy and client relationship development
- Stay updated on key legal and regulatory developments in construction law
- Qualified solicitor in Scotland with up to 4 years’ PQE in contentious construction law
- Experience with construction contracts (e.g. NEC, JCT, FIDIC) and major infrastructure disputes
- Strong advocacy, drafting and negotiation skills
- Able to manage a varied caseload and prioritise under pressure
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
