- NVQ/BTEC Level 4 or equivalent experience.
- GCSE Mathematics & English Grade C or above
- ECDL/Clait or other IT qualification
- Experience of working within an Undergraduate Education environment
- Knowledge and experience of Medical Education structure
- Experience of working within an NHS environment - preferably with medical staff
- Experience of developing admin systems and processes and implementing change
- Experience co-ordinating and leading large scale administrative processes
- Experience of working within a Medical Education environment
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate with staff at all levels in different formats
- Experience of communication with external stakeholders
- Experience of communicating highly sensitive information in a confidential environment
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate with staff at all levels in different formats
- Ability to interpret data, identify themes and present to stakeholders
- Ability to develop administrative processes to improve efficiency
- Knowledge of NHS systems
- Advanced IT skills to include Microsoft applications
- Ability to prioritise and organise, both self and team, and make decisions in relation to own work and department
- Evidence of organisational skills and ensuring attention to detail
- Evidence of ability to work on own initiative
- Acknowledges the importance of confidentiality
- Demonstrates commitment to own professional development
- Experience of on-line procurement systems and an understanding of financial control measures
- Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge and interest in Medical Education at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level
