
Assistant Management Accountant (12m FTC)

- Preparation and maintenance of balance sheet reconciliations, e.g. Prepayments, Fixed Assets, Bank reconciliations, Creditors
- Responsible for stock supplier payments and analysis, working closely with Operations team to ensure stock payments accurately recorded and paid on time
- Assist with order to cash reconciliation and weekly payment run
- Managing interfaces from third party systems (ecommerce / customer data)
- Distribute monthly overhead analysis to the budget holders and assist with any queries that may arise, in a timely manner
- Managing retail payroll across the business, incorporating the opening of new retail stores throughout the year
- Responsible for month-end reporting of warehousing, shipping & freight costs, working closely with Logistics to ensure accruals are captured accurately and performing variance analysis to budget
- Responsible for the reconciliation and management of the GRNI account, working closely with Operations to ensure aged items are cleared and purchase invoices are matched off with item receipts
- Responsible for capex tracking for retail stores and NPD projects, ensuring that schedules are kept up to date and working closely with the retail & NPD teams to track actual spend against budget for each project
- Ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting and project assignments as required
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Work with the finance team and wider business to promote continuous improvement and make suggestions for internal process development
- Part-qualified Account and actively studying towards accountancy qualifications with experience working within finance
- Experience with NetSuite (preferable) or comparable ERP system
- Advanced Excel skills
- Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
- Strong interpersonal skills. A problem solver with attention to detail
- Experience within SME in an e-commerce business – fashion or beauty is desirable
- Organisational and leadership skills
