
Head of Service, Mental Health and Learning Disabilities (CAMHS)

- Four main hospitals: Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth; Glangwili Hospital in Carmarthen; Prince Philip Hospital in Llanelli; and Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest
- Five community hospitals: Amman Valley and Llandovery hospitals in Carmarthenshire; Tregaron Hospital in Ceredigion; and Tenby and South Pembrokeshire hospitals in Pembrokeshire
- Two integrated care centres: Aberaeron and Cardigan in Ceredigion, and several other community settings
- 47 general practices (six of which are health board managed practices); dental practices (including four orthodontic); 97 community pharmacies; 43 general ophthalmic practices; and 8 ophthalmic domiciliary providers
- Numerous mental health and learning disabilities services
- First degree or equivalent
- Master's or equivalent level of experience
- Post graduate management qualification
- Experience at senior management level
- Knowledge of NHS, WG and Health Board governance, strategies, policies and plans including HR policies
- Demonstrates knowledge of strategic healthcare agenda relating to service delivery and NHS Wales
- Clinical qualification in the area of delegated responsibility e.g. nursing/ social work for Mental Health
- Management qualification e.g. ILM
- Experience of planning and implementing long term strategy
- Experience of performance management
- Experience of working at a senior level in a large, complex organisation
- Track record of introducing service improvement and managing organisational change and change management projects
- Experience of financial management
- Experience of working within S-CAMHS/ Mental Health in Wales
- Experience of managing teams through organisational change
- Able to travel within the service and across Wales to attend meetings
