
Product Owner - Biometrics

- Own and manage the product backlog for the Biometrics development team, ensuring backlog items are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for implementation.
- Collaborate daily with engineers, architects, and testers to refine user stories, clarify requirements, and provide direction on implementation.
- Work closely with Product Management to break down product requirements into team-level deliverables that align with new product introductions.
- Partner with Program Management to align backlog priorities with program timelines, release plans, and key milestones.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and system demos.
- Define and communicate clear acceptance criteria to guide development and ensure deliverables meet functional and quality expectations.
- Act as the single point of contact for story-level decisions, clarifications, and prioritization on behalf of stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement within the team by identifying bottlenecks, improving backlog grooming practices, and fostering team engagement.
- Contribute to risk mitigation by surfacing technical and scope-related issues early and aligning them with program-level planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar agile role within a hardware/firmware/software development context.
- Experience delivering products in embedded systems or secure identity/authentication solutions is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with new product introduction processes and hardware release readiness is a plus.
- Clear and consistent communicator who can represent both business goals and technical realities.
- Strong backlog management discipline and ability to translate vision into sprint-ready stories.
- Collaborates effectively with global teams and balances priorities across engineering and business needs.
