- Provide support for our sales teams in acquiring new and developing existing client's business relationships.
- Using diverse skills and internal business knowledge to encourage and support advisers to increase our market share of their issued protection business.
- Establish and broaden excellent relationships with both adviser and internal teams.
- Build strong personal relationships with key internal customers, appropriate support functions and external service providers.
- Proactively manage and take ownership of key stakeholder relationships ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of agreed outputs.
- Take a proactive approach to client issue resolution, taking ownership/escalating where necessary and seeing through to resolution.
- Structure information to meet the needs and understanding of the intended audience.
- Gather and understand client intelligence and identify commercial opportunities where appropriate.
- To act as the adviser's primary point of contact and to co-ordinate client responses, liaising with other team members and departments as appropriate.
- Maintain up-to-date records of adviser contact and activity, communicating updates with others as appropriate.
- Proactively maintain standards, working practices and behaviours of the Protection Sales Support team.
- Actively seek to increase knowledge to develop others and drive best practice, taking action to manage own personal development and encourage others to do the same.
- Operate within the Zurich Competency Development Framework.
- Ability to manage and prioritise own workloads.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Able to cope with pressures & resilient in the face of setbacks.
- Dedication to provide high quality work in a time pressured environment, while ensuring deadlines are met.

- Protection knowledge & experience desirable but not essential.
- CII RO5 is a requirement for the role, however not essential at outset.
- An understanding of adviser business practices, models and their protection processes desirable.
