We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Global Wealth Management organisation based in the City of London. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the successful delivery of multiple projects to advance the Global PMO Group strategy in alignment with our global IT strategy. Your primary focus will be on implementing technology projects to enhance our global operating platform through operational transformation and business application solutions worldwide.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the financial services industry, with a strong background in process transformation, Data Migration, Automation and IT solution delivery. You should possess a deep understanding of business and functional domains, along with familiarity with project management frameworks such as PMI’s or similar. Technical certifications such as PMP, MSP, or PRINCE2 are desirable, as well as the ability to manage outsourcing vendors.Key responsibilities include developing and executing project plans, managing project resources, communicating progress to stakeholders, identifying and addressing risks and issues, and ensuring project closure in alignment with project sponsors and business owners. Strong project communication skills are essential, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all organizational levels within EMEA and globally.While formal project management qualifications and asset management experience are advantageous, they are not essential. However, the ability to consult with and gain support from key stakeholders, particularly department heads, is crucial.
