Pay Rate: £140 – £190 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-timeAre you a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher ready to inspire students and bring the world of geography to life?GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Geography Teacher to join a vibrant school in Blyth. In this role, you will deliver engaging and dynamic lessons, helping students develop their understanding of the world and the issues that shape it.Responsibilities as a Geography Teacher:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in Geography, in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to engage with the subject.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and personalised support.
  • Contribute to the development of the department and the wider school community.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote best practices in teaching and learning.
Requirements for Geography Teacher:
  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • A strong understanding of the Geography curriculum at Key Stages.
  • Experience teaching Geography at school level is desirable.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps clearly explained.
