When we work together we can do amazing things.We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic person to become part of our Central Reservations Team.Under the leadership of our Central Reservations Manager, Sarah Connelly you will have the opportunity to work with our friendly team, develop your skills and enjoy the variety offered by a role in hospitality.The successful candidate can expect to work 14 hours per week (excluding breaks), Saturdays and Sundays 9.00am - 5.00pm. Please note flexibility outside of these hours will be required for the initial training period.The rate of pay for this Part-time position is £8,954 per annum.We offer a range of benefits including employee discounts, 29 days holiday ( Pro-rata) plus your birthday and opportunities for career progression and development.About the roleHandling external and internal calls promptly, courteously and efficiently, taking and forwarding messages as required.Ensuring that caller concerns, complaints and difficulties are dealt with courteously and efficiently.Taking action to resolve issues where possible and reporting unresolved issues to your supervisor/manager.Ensuring all caller enquiries are handled efficiently and effectively.Completion of daily, weekly and monthly administration to ensure effective maintenance of systems information.Preparing ad hoc reports as required.Inputting reservations and actioning reservation reports when required.Processing all reservations related correspondence, ensuring all special requests are actioned.Promoting all Hastings properties to ensure that opportunities to increase sales are maximised.Maintaining effective communication with Group Sales and hotel personnel to ensure guest satisfaction.About the companyOur vision is to be recognised as a prestigious, family company providing the finest in Irish hospitality with style and excellence.Required Criteria

Desired Criteria
  • Previous call centre or telephony experience
  • Previous experience working in a hospitality environment
  • GCSE level standard with minimum GCSE grade C passes in English & Maths or equivalent
  • Previous reservations experience
