To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.NHS Grampian is delighted to be in a position to advertise 2 WTE band 6 Hyper Acute Stroke Nurses at Dr Grays Hospital in Elgin, variable hours by negotiation. With support from the Scottish government, we have funding for a test of change for 18 months to support the development of stroke services within Moray.The post holders will work closely with the Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) in Stroke to primarily support the Emergency Department, ensuring patients follow the Stroke pathway in a timely manner which will ultimately improve outcomes for the patient.Other responsibilities include support of the Transient Ischaemic Attack (TIA) service, outreach of patients admitted out with the Stroke ward and support of Stroke ward in the absence of the ANP. There will also be an expectation to deliver education sessions in collaboration with the Stroke Educator and ANP. We are excited to be trialling Clopidogrel resistance testing at point of care which the post holders will also support.Applications are welcomed from any qualified nurse with an interest in stroke looking to expand their knowledge and clinical skills, while helping to improve Stroke care for the patients of Moray. We are keen to promote and support role specific training and development.We aim to conduct interviews for this post on 30th September 2025.
