- Identify design problems, prioritise and design proposals for solutions based on your experience and understanding of good UX design.
- Conduct research, map customer journeys and define requirements
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs that are both functional and beautiful
- Iterate quickly based on user feedback, analytics, and team input
- Advocate for the user while balancing business goals and technical feasibility
- Contribute to and leverage design systems and style guides to maintain consistency
- Present design work and rationale clearly to stakeholders and teammates
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and developers to ship high-quality features
- Experience working in a web-based company and understanding the workflows that their role fits within to allow delivery of best-in-class websites.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in designing user experiences and building products; experience in a startup, tech company and/or agile environment is a plus
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking and end-to-end project work
- Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design and accessibility standards
- A track record of using data/analytics to influence designs
- Understanding of business strategy and follow UX design best practices
- Proficiency in Figma
- Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- A superior personal character and work ethic
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
