Driving revenue growth, optimising margins & costs, and maximising ROI remain pivotal but the opportunity is bigger. We bring together deep expertise to help our clients maximise total enterprise value, sustainably, and for the long term.As a member of our team you will help shape and drive a breadth of exciting & transformational work across all our industry market sectors (Financial Services, Products & Services, Energy & Resources, Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences and Central Government).What you will be doing
- You will be responsible for helping clients address complex strategic, operational, and organisational cost, margin and value-creation issues
- Programmes will range anywhere from setting EVC strategy and vision tailored to client's needs, to mobilizing and leading multi-disciplinary cost and margin improvement
- You will be responsible for building capability in the client to ensure sustainability. At Baringa we believe that the client should learn from us so that they can repeat the successes themselves
- You will be responsible for coaching, mentoring and inspiring junior team members to ensure they fulfil their potential and are happy at work
- You will be a key member of the Enterprise Value Creation team responsible for building out the Enterprise Value Creation team to become the “Go To” brand in the market
- You will be responsible for bringing together our cross-functional Baringa team to bring the best in class to the client
- You will have experience in leading programmes and projects focused on: gross margin improvement, SG&A/third party cost reduction, profitability, operational performance and efficiency and operational due diligence
- You will have experience working across a client lifecycle: from diagnostics creating baselines, forming hypotheses and using benchmarks and comparator analysis; to designing improvement initiatives and implementation plans; to mobilising the subsequent cost/ margin/ profitability transformation programme
- You will have actively been involved in business development and delivering work in at least one of Baringa's industry sectors (Financial Services, Products & Services, Energy & Resources, Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences and Central Government) and/or have experience working with Private Equity
- You will have built or supported the development and build out of value creation capabilities, teams and assets in a consulting organisation.
- Experience in benefit management and implementation planning
- ACA/CIMA qualified, with an Accounting degree or experience in managing a P&L
- Proven ability to take ownership and deliver results in challenging, client-facing environments
- Experience coaching teams and delivering training to colleagues and clients
- Senior stakeholder communications, management, presentation and relationship development skills
