Salary: £33,075 to £50,471 (dependent on experience)We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join our team in Aylesbury from September. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French across Key Stages 3 to 5. - Plan and deliver engaging, interactive French lessons that meet the diverse needs and abilities of all students.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters enthusiasm for language learning and cultural appreciation.
- Utilise a range of effective teaching strategies and resources—including communicative activities, multimedia tools, and authentic materials—to support language acquisition.
- Regularly assess student progress using both formative and summative methods, providing constructive feedback to aid their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement a cohesive Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) curriculum tailored to a wide range of learners.
- Contribute to the wider school community by organising and participating in extracurricular activities such as language clubs, cultural events, and international exchanges to enrich students’ linguistic and cultural experiences.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a closely related discipline.
- High level of proficiency in French, with the ability to teach the language to a high standard.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages at the secondary school level, with a proven track record of strong student outcomes.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for fostering language learning and intercultural understanding.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to establish a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
