And then there's the kind who actually do own the programme, the budget, the chaos, and somehow still keep everyone pointing in the right direction.We're looking for the second kind.This is a £25m healthcare project in Belfast, commencing September 2025. Live environment. Big expectations. No hiding place. You'll be dealing with the usual cocktail of tight deadlines, moving goalposts, and people who think their bit is the most important bit.So, if your style is to sit in a portacabin firing off emails and blaming the QS, this isn't for you.We want someone who can:
  • Take a project from pre-con to handover without the wheels coming off
  • Keep subcontractors, clients, consultants, and internal teams aligned
  • Spot problems before they become headlines
  • Say “no” when needed- and mean it
Experience on healthcare builds is ideal. But if you've managed big, messy projects with a lot of moving parts and even more opinions, we're open.You'll be joining a contractor who actually builds things.
