- Perform full strip-downs of vehicles with a focus on mechanical components, ensuring precision and accuracy in every task.
- Remove and safely handle all vehicle parts, including intricate components, wiring, and assemblies, while documenting and organising parts for easy reassembly.
- Safely drain engine oil, fuel, and other fluids as part of the disassembly process, following appropriate environmental and safety guidelines.
- Take apart brake systems, including pads, rotors, and other components, with precision and an understanding of braking mechanisms.
- Handle various vehicle components with attention to detail, ensuring no damage to parts and adherence to safety protocols throughout the process.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a clean and organised workspace that minimises risk and prevents hazards.
- Log and Track data such as VIN numbers of disassembled parts and components
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, preferably in a main dealer, restoration, or motorsport environment.
- Solid understanding of vehicle systems including engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
- Demonstrated skill in safely dismantling vehicles using appropriate tools and practices. Experience as a Strip Down Vehicle Technician is highly desirable.
- Ability to work with care and organisation, avoiding damage and ensuring traceability of each part.
