
Assistant Shift Team Leader

- Assisting the STL with operating, controlling, and monitoring boilers, pumps, steam turbines and heat exchangers via a DCS.
- Operating the overhead crane efficiently when required.
- Monitoring flow rates, temperature, pressure around the plant to ensure equipment is working safely, efficiently and complies with health and safety requirements.
- Conducting plant walk rounds / routines and first line maintenance work on plant equipment when needed.
- Completing all training provided to aid your understanding and develop your knowledge of the plant.
- A relevant technical apprenticeship in an engineering discipline along with an HNC/ONC level qualification or similar.
- Maintenance or operations experience from transferable heavy process engineering sectors such as Paper Mill, Power Station, Water Treatment, Chemical Production etc.
- Royal or Merchant Navy Marine Engineers are also encouraged to apply.
- High voltage experience is also desirable but not necessary.
- A positive attitude and willingness to progress and develop in the role
- Be flexible in terms of working on a 12 hour shift pattern (day and night shifts).
- A competitive basic salary c£47,000
