No laboratory experience required, full training will be given.Main duties to include:

To prepare samples for analysis when required.
To provide general assistance to Laboratory staff at all levels
To assist in the preparation of microbiological culture media and record the necessary Quality Control and Performance checks.
To work to Express Micro Science’s Quality System showing due care and diligence in all activities.
To carry out housekeeping duties in line with Cleaning Schedules and other documents as required (including cleaning of equipment, floors, bins, and benches when required)
To carry out all washroom duties as required being mindful of the glassware requirements.
To dispose of all laboratory waste in accordance with procedures.
To report any unsafe or poor working practices in the laboratory

Confident in Microsoft Office packages
