- Produce high-quality electrical and instrumentation designs across LV, ELV, and hazardous areas (ATEX/IEC 60079)
- Interpret and develop detailed drawings, schematics, and design documentation
- Carry out design calculations using tools such as AMTECH and Dialux
- Occasionally attend local sites for surveys and kick-off meetings
- Mentor junior EC&I engineers (for senior candidates)
- Collaborate with other engineers and contribute to HAZOPs and design reviews
- 18th Edition (BS7671) qualification
- At least 3 years' experience in electrical or EC&I design
- Experience with hazardous area design (COMPEX 8-12 preferred)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar software
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Knowledge of G17/G35 and IEC 60079 standards
- Gas sector experience
- Commissioning or inspection background
- Professional registration (IEng/CEng) or working towards it
