We welcome the challenge to work in new ways and have trust in you when getting the job done because we recognise, our business is our people.Job DescriptionUltra Precision Control Systems are looking for an Operation Technician to test, fault find and repair a range of products to meet customer commitments in terms of quality and timescales.As Operations Technician you will be a technical and skilled individual providing support to others and contributing through application of technical expertise and knowledge gained through experience in clearly defined operations environments and formalised job-related training.This role requires a high attention to detail and somebody who has experience of interpreting and reviewing controlled documentation.Job purpose:To build, inspect and test new build products to ATP documentation in accordance with the individual’s scope of approvalTo test and inspect work performed by other members of the Operations TeamTo perform diagnostic testing and root cause analysis on any non-conforming work to identify necessary corrective actionTo undertake fault diagnosis of returned items & provide a comprehensive strip reportCarry out repair & test of customers units as required.To act as technical champion within the team and support other team members in achieving technical compliance with all manufacturing standardsKey Responsibilities:To assemble new build products & carry out repair of customer products in accordance with the drawings & manufacturing instructions.To undertake fault diagnosis of units that fail the ATP & provide a comprehensive strip report for customer returns.Carry out final ATP of units as required.Identify problems/issues and recommend solutions to prevent recurrenceAct as the cell link into quality, engineering & other areas of the business as needed.Review you job progress on an annual basis with the objective of achieving continuous improvement.
