- Telephone, email and face to face contact to and from customers
- Timely response to customers' enquiries, queries and complaints in an efficient and professional manner
- Proactive planning and tracking orders to completion
- Cost effective dispatch planning of all customer orders through active liaison with commercial, operations and hauliers
- Scheduling and rescheduling orders whilst utilising haulage fleet effectively
- Compiling and maintaining accurate records as required
- Communicating effectively with commercial and production teams and haulage partners
- Identifying and contributing to managing your own personal development in collaboration with your line manager
- Booking lorries in and out of depot and other Reception duties
- Excellent communicator who can build effective relationships with colleagues and customers
- Proactive self-starter
- Excellent IT Knowledge
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to a high level of accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- A good eye for detail with excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to work with a small team
- Be calm and adaptable in a fast-changing environment
- Be able to work on own initiative, but also to take direction when required
- Previous experience working in Building Product markets is desirable though not essential as training will be given.
- A good familiarity of the local geography is desirable.
