- Defines and agrees KPIs for Function with other Basis Lead and Technical Operations Lead, to meet CoE needs, and align to Non-Functional Requirements and overall CoE Mission
- Identifies areas for process and operational improvement
- Knowledge and experience of SAP cloud solutions, BTP, Hana cloud, Cloud ALM,
- Integration technologies including SLT
- Experience of SAP in a retail environment would be beneficial
- Experience of working with 3rd party support teams with excellent time management and task prioritisation and delegation.
- Excellent problem solving and analysis skills gained from working in a large and complex organisation.
- Experience of SAP upgrades, patching and regular maintenance planning.
- Comfortable working on your own and as part of the SAP COE.
- Support the Technical Operations Lead and Environment Manager in controlling the resourcing and other budget / spend for SAP infrastructure and technical operations support.
- Lead SAP Basis in process improvement and automation (ensuring improved efficiency, collaboration, responsiveness, and best in class tooling).
- Manage applications to ensure they are technically monitored and meet NFRs
- Support technical projects and new technical delivery on projects/other initiatives – such as re-platforming, upgrades, patching, performance testing, changes to batch schedule, etc.
- Ensure the services are delivered according to contractual agreements (if applicable) and within SLAs,
- Provide support for contributing to Problem Management activities.
- Provide guidance, direction, and support to SAP projects.
- Participate in major incident duty on a 24x7 rotation.
- Experience of performance testing/resolution of performance issues
- Knowledge of archiving
- Have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
- Open to change, driven by continuous improvement, understanding of ITSM process excellence
- Have a desire and energy to inspire team in, quality delivery, effective collaboration, and have a mindset and personality to resolve and drive through solutions to problems.
