Permanent VacancyA fantastic opportunity for an IT Support Engineer (2nd Line) to join a well-established Managed Services Provider near Leeds has arisen.This position has arisen due to internal growth and increased demand for an additional resource for their key customers. Based on the size of the business and variety of day-to-day responsibilities, there is a fantastic opportunity to get hand-on experience quickly in Infrastructure, network and security technologies.Duties involved:
- Provide 2 nd line technical support to a diverse array of clients via telephone, remote support and onsite visits
- To take end-to-end ownership of problems from logging, prioritising through to resolution
- Where required be a escalation point for 1st line engineers
- Be proactive when dealing with user issues, keeping the client updated on the status of their support query
- To support and maintain all levels of appropriate documentation
- Be involved with new IT builds for customers, across a wide range of technologies
- Work with other engineers and management to deliver customer projects and complex tickets
- Good knowledge of Active Directory and Windows OS
- Administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Intune and Entra ID
- Exposure to Microsoft-based server operating systems with an emphasis on Windows Server 2012, 2016 & 2019
- Hypervisor experience across Hyper-V/VMWare
- Ideally have some understanding of Firewalls & routers
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5pm
- Office based – South Leeds
- Starting salary of up to £30,000 per annum (possibility to increase for the right person)
