- Working alongside our Home Manager, you will achieve Jasmine’s mission in our home, by ensuring all our residents are provided with the highest standards of care, and doing everything you can to develop, motivate, and improve the wellbeing of your team.
- You will ensure care plans for our residential residents are completed within the timescales require by the company policy and ensure that all care plans are evaluated at least once a calendar month.
- You will ensure all our team members are fully competent with medication, ensuring weekly audits are completed and medication is requested in plenty of time. Medication handling must be always carried out correctly, including ensuring all old medication is returned to the pharmacy each month and it is booked in on a timely basis.
- Relevant Professional qualification (e.g. Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3).
- Minimum of three years’ experience in residential / nursing home setting of which at least one year must be with people living with dementia.
- Awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning.
- To ensure knowledge is gained to demonstrate a good understanding of the prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults, recognition of the signs of abuse and procedures to follow in the event of an allegation of abuse.
- Live within 30 minutes of the Home.
- Two years’ experience in a similar role in a nursing home.
- One year experience of caring for residents living with dementia.
- Experience of supervising team members.
- NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care or above.
- Experience as a Senior in Health or Social Care or above.
- Well over half our team have a relevant Diploma qualification with another fifth currently studying for one
