- QTS required with Secondary English specialism
- Affinity for children with SEMH and EBD needs
- Ability to plan, teach, and assess English GCSE
- Committed to raising the aspirations of children with SEN needs in a Pupil Referral Unit
- An effective communicator, with children, parents, and colleagues
- A team player, able to work collaboratively
- Pastoral capabilities, including contributing to EHCPs
- Adaptable and proactive; you must be able to react to the events the day could throw at you!

- Working in a small, bespoke, and close-knit SEN school
- Supporting high aspirations and achievement for SEMH pupils
- Delivering the English GCSE curriculum, and taking on teaching responsibilities for some other arts and humanities subjects
